10 things that make you the typical teenager:
1. Ever had your heart broken? Well if you’re the typical teen a heartbeat will feel like the worst, as if your whole world was torn apart. To the point where your friends see changes in you, or you’re not the usual preppy teen in class and you no longer participate in activities. Why? Because you’ve experienced a heartbreak ,aw . The typical teen will be in a depression, for a relationship that was probably for a few weeks let alone a few months. Maybe even a fake relationship caused them severe stress, in regards to slight stalking even. Where you have this perception that their yours when really they have no idea how you feel .
2. There’s another thing, you see a relationship that lasts longer than three weeks or even months as anniversary worthy. As if you made it in the world and now you can be that couple in the school that is practically married. But then again, every couple has their own beliefs on the anniversary thing, some love each other so much they just don’t care about it.
3. The only problems in your life should be, girls or boys, video games, television shows and sports. You’re not supposed to worry about university yet, chill you’re in high school. Wait until the few years left of your high school life to stress about life afterwards.

1. You daydream about prom ( matric dance), since the eight grade you already picked out who you’re going with, what you’re going to wear est. As a guy, you probably don’t care yet until the day arrives, which is completely okay.
5. You feel as though you can drop out anytime school becomes overwhelming. You’ve got projects on projects, three tests and one pop quiz for the same day. You’ve at least thought about finding a job and leaving school at least once, that’s every teen.
6. Do your group of friends say the slang term ‘Dawg’ often? Or dude, bruh est. There’s nothing wrong with slang, it’s like your own little language to confuse adults.
7. Have you watched project X? Have you ever been to a party that needed law enforcement to come to your door. Probably not everyone, because some teens just like having small house parties that won’t get them in trouble with their parents.
Using abbreviations for vulgarisms? Okay or not?
It means'What the fudge' okay.
8. Are you glued to your phone? Not only because it’s your gateway into your social life but because it has almost everything on it. Like your accounts, passwords and your images. Imagine your images being leaked out to the whole of the school, that’s probably your worst nightmare. But than again, everyone needs their own privacy. It’s a must!
9. You have no idea what you’re going to do after school. Don’t you just dread when those university programs come to your school and make you rethink life?
10. You either read or you don’t read. The amount of people in my class that probably read is tragic, makes me wonder. What exactly are you doing with your time?
